It is at the base of cerro del Caballo on a glacier-like landing that appears between the cuerda de los Tajos Altos (to the west), and the Pico de los Machos (to the east). A small mountain retreat is just a few meters away.

Location

It is located at the head of the Lanjarón River, on its right bank. At about 2,850 meters of altitude and at the foot of the peak of the same name.

Practicable season

During the time of defrosting, preferably summer.
